Sunday in the Park

T and I showed up to Speedway Meadows to discover that we’d missed the picnic because it was on Saturday. All was not lost, however. We’d brought giant baskets of tissue flowers with us to give to fellow Couch Surfers and walked the park all day, saying hi and giving all of them away. We ran out pretty fast, so we thought maybe next time a little camp of us making flowers and giving them out might be good. Come join us next Sunday! Follow our twitter for details! The Stranger Network dispels our fear of unfamiliar people by fostering connections and collaborations through social happenings uninhibited by image, identity, and pre-existing relationships.

Come see us tomorrow at Speedway Meadows in Golden Gate Park. We will be selling beautiful tissue flowers at Couch Surfing’s Million Member March–a big all day party/get together to celebrate a million open hearts and homes. All proceeds will go to fund the first Stranger Network event. Stay tuned!
